Sonu Nigam’s 4-year-old son sings ‘Kolaveri Di’

Sonu Nigam’s 4-year-old son sings ‘Kolaveri Di’

Tamil actor Dhanush has stiff competition for his hit song ‘Why this Kolaveri Di’ – from playback singer Sonu Nigam’s four years old son Nevaan. The pint-sized singer has modified the song to add new lyrics and his version is getting as much attention as the one sung by Dhanush on YouTube.
The new version of the song has the lyrics ‘handla glass-u, glass la milk-u, milk-u colour white-u; empty glass-u, mamma come-u, give me milk-u dear-u.” Nigam is seen in the video along with his wife Madhurima, encouraging their son who takes on the microphone with the practised ease of a pro.
The milk version of ‘Kolaveri Di’ already has 82,900 page views while the original, which was uploaded on November 16 is going strong with 16,253,632 hits. Composed by 18-year-old Anirudh Ravichander, the song with funny lyrics is sung in an unconventional manner by Dhanush himself and it will be a part of his next film ’3′, which is being directed by his wife Aishwayra. The film also stars Shruthi Haasan.
Seldom has any song created such a craze – from children to youngsters to celebrities, everyone is hooked on to the song. Dhanush says he is overwhelmed by the response to his song ‘Kolaveri Di’, which has become a rage online, attracting fans like Amitabh Bachchan.
The Tanglish (Tamil and English) song is a funny take on a heartbreak. Despite his young age, Nevaan, who has dark ringlets, has sung with confidence and endeared himself to thousands of people on the Internet.

"Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo" - Shankar Tucker ft. Rohini Ravada

This interpretation of the classic ghazal by Fayyaz Hashmi features Rohini Ravada on vocals and Shankar Tucker on keyboards, clarinet, and tabla.

This is one of my favorite compositions of all time. Unfortunately I had to leave off the last verse in order to keep the time suitable for a YouTube video. I will release the full version with all verses as part of an album later on.
